Thomson Reuters initiated the launch of a data feed of cryptocurrency for real-time rates. The newly launched system will provide reliable and real-time data for about six digital coins from key crypto exchanges. Its aim is to promote proficiency and transparency in cryptocurrency for its global investors.
Real-time rates of the latest cryptocurrency can be accessed through a modified platform of Thomson Reuters, Eikon, with API interface. The application provides data to be traded from a range of crypto exchanges, which include Bigpoint and Bitflyer. A Reuters report has asserted an addition of a number of trading platforms in the near future.
The company has announced the launch of the new system after the latest survey by Thomson Reuters. It found that financial firms may increase their focus on cryptocurrency trading in this year. The survey expects that out of 400 finance companies, about 20% will enter in trading the crypto assets in the next 12 Months. It shows that in 2018, out of every five of unrevealed businesses, one business is planning to set up a contact with cryptocurrencies directly.
It will cover the real-time rates pricing data for six cryptocurrencies. The launch is interpreted as a sign indicating that Reuters is about to embrace the digital asset class on its individual trading platforms. The giant introduced bitcoin cash (BCH) to Eikon in December. After bitcoin core (BTC) and ethereum, BCH is said to be the third largest cryptocurrency on the platform.
Finance Magnates reported that the most recent release is an effect of a declaration from CME Group. The group is introducing a benchmark in daily pricing for Ethereum. This service is to be provided in partnership with Crypto Facilities, which is a cryptocurrency trading platform.
Crypto Facilities has launched today a latest instant margining system (IMS). The new launch is supposed to increase the stability, speed, and the user-friendliness of the treading platform. The new system comes with some variations in the margin parameters. Currently, there are only two parameters. First is Initial Margin (IM) and the second one is Maintenance Margin (MM).
